Grocery Sales Cycle - What Goes On Sale in July

Stock Up and Save

Grocery stores will be aiming for one last buying surge for food items that go along with July 4th celebrations. Remember to stock up on the food listed below if you find good deals. Look for picnic-related items to go back to regular prices after July 4th with the exception of some of the red, white and blue items.

Also, July is a great month for buying fresh produce. With that in mind, check the prices on frozen products such as frozen blueberries, peaches, corn and green beans. Many times when produce is fresh, the same frozen produce will be at the lowest prices.

July is also when the stores start to get rid of summer merchandise because back-to-school clothing and back-to-school supplies will be set up as soon as July 4th is over.

This is also a good time to visit your local nursery to pick up plants and bulbs that have finished blooming.
