Here is a perfect example of why it is worth it to cut the UPC codes off the packaging of food products.
Kellogg's is running a rebate from now until April 30, 2012, where you can get a $10 gas card when you buy 10 participating Kellogg's cereal. And not only can you get one gas card, but you are permitted up to five cards per household.
What I really like is that you are not required to send in a grocery receipt, just the UPC codes off of the packaging. What concerns me is that it states, "Offer Available While Supplies Last,' so if you want this offer I would send in the required form and qualifiers soon.

Recently Consumer Reports National Research Center gave subscribers an opportunity to rate national retailers on categories including product quality, prices, assortment and service. The report included around 55,108 shopper's experiences at Costco, JCPenney, Kmart, Kohl's, Macy's, Meijer, Sam's Club, Sears, Target, and Walmart. For the first time, some shoppers also rated many of those retailers' online stores. How did the retailers rate?
