Denny's will offer a free Grand Slam egg breakfast to anyone who comes in to its restaurants on Feb. 9, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Also, customers will receive a coupon booklet offering discounts off meals and free menu items when they dine at Dennys.
"We know that times are still tough and a free hot breakfast helps a lot of folks and their families," Denny's CEO and president Nelson Marchioli said in a release. "We heard from thousands last year who thanked us."

Included with the promotion is a sweepstakes to win a free Grand Slam breakfast every week for a year. Entrys into the contest can be found online or in Denny's restaurants and must be completed by Feb. 14, 2010.
