Delete 10 Facebook Friends for a Free Whopper

Tuesday January 13, 2009
Facebook and Burger King have joined hands on a pretty funny promotion called "Whopper Sacrifice" which offers Facebook users who delete (sacrifice) 10 Facebook friends from their list, a coupon for a free hamburger. To participate, Facebook users need to download an application, sacrifice 10 friends, then they will get a coupon for a free flame-broiled Whopper.

To find out if you have been sacrificed for a burger you can check out your activity feed. On the Burger King promotion site, there is an ongoing tally for all friends who have been deleted. Last count was 208,328.

Promotion Terms: "One coupon for a free WHOPPER sandwich, per person, while supplies last. Coupon offer available to US residents in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Coupon valid at participating BURGER KING restaurants only."
