Definition: Hang tag. This is a form of advertising or promotion that hangs on the neck of a bottle. It can be a coupon redeemable at purchase, buy one get one promotion, rebate, or any other kind of promotional message. It can also be found at clothing stores around the hanger of a garment indicating an extra savings at purchase time.
