A popular and helpful tool for coupon clippers is the Sunday Coupon Insert Schedule which informs coupon clippers about which coupon inserts will be in the Sunday newspaper.
This list shows the dates and which coupon inserts are scheduled plus how many are scheduled for Redplum, Smartsource and Procter & Gamble. Currently General Mills has not released their insert schedule, but when they do the list will be updated.
Why is This Information Helpful to Couponers?
One way to accumulate a lot of coupons is by buying multiple newspapers on the days that there are inserts with desirable coupons. By doing this couponers have more coupons to trade or use for stacking coupons. This is also one way that coupon clippers build a cost-effective stockpile of useful grocery and drugstore items.
The SundayCouponPreview lists in advance which coupons will be in the Sunday inserts which is helpful when matching coupons or planning weekly meals. The information is also helpful when deciding if buying multiple newspapers is worth it.
The schedule below is posted at the beginning of each year and it is subject to change. As changes become known, the schedule will be updated. Also, usually there are no inserts on holidays with the exception of Proctor & Gamble. Coupons for holiday products are often posted the month prior to the holiday. For example, winter holiday baking coupons show up in the October inserts.

Do you need more newspapers to build your coupon collection? Ask friends and neighbors if you can have their coupon inserts. Visit public waiting areas like local hotels, airports, train and bus stations and coffee shops. You can often find the Sunday coupon inserts in abandoned newspapers laying around.
Do you have a neighborhood convenience store near by? Make friends with the Sunday workers and let them know you would like to pick up the papers before they discard them. One of the store managers by my house holds the papers in a nice neat bundle for me to pick up.
The more resourceful you are about finding newspapers, the more coupons you can collect for trading or saving on food and other personal and household products.
