Excellent deals can be found online and coupons can sometimes be staked with rebates, deals-of-the-day and other marked down merchandise. One popular way of double-dipping is to use an affiliate link for a special price or deal (example - free shipping) and then submit a coupon code for an additional savings. If the same product happens to have a printable rebate then you're really maximizing your savings!

One way to find out about deals like this is to visit the forums of your favorite coupons sites. There is a lot of great information on the boards but generally speaking you must act fast. I've purchased a couple of printers, two scanners, an executive office chair, a wireless mouse and keyboard for under $60.00 by watching the forums, finding applicable coupon codes and links and then following up with the rebates

There are times I don't want to pay for shipping or wait for an item to be shipped so I'll print the coupon code and promotion and take it to my local store. Brick and mortar stores are not obligated to honor these deals but a lot of the time they will do it anyway as a courtesy. It all depends on the deal and who the merchant is but it never hurts to ask!
