In an old job that I used to have there was a place in the employee lounge for people to put unwanted coupons. There was one woman who used to bring several duplicate coupons each week. I asked her how she had so many duplicates and she told me she would pay for one newspaper, but picked up four every Sunday from the newspaper dispensers.
To clarify what she was saying, I said, "You mean you steal three papers and just pay for one?" She laughed and said, "It's just newspapers. That's not really stealing." I never really dug deep to understand how she justified stealing newspapers. I was just surprised that someone who seemed so nice would steal.

I don’t steal newspapers (why would you? it not only hurts the box owner, you don’t need them.) but I have gone to area boxes right before the Monday paper is placed and taken the remaining coupons.
If a coupon is that good that I think I need more than one, then I buy another paper. It’s only fair!
Now days you can get a lot of the same coupons off the internet-there’s no reason to be stealing.
No, I would never steal newspapers for coupons. But that doesn’t mean I won’t look for coupons. I do look for them all the time!
I have never stolen a paper. I just find places where they discount them. the dollar stores have them for 1.50 instead of 2 dollars. Since i have started using coupons i have saved a lot of money.
In the town where I live you can buy 10 Sunday papers for a little over $8 after Sunday at the newspaper office, so it’s not that much for more coupons. Stealing newspapers or coupons is dishonest.
