Last week I came across the most adorable and brilliant idea for managing kids puzzles on the blog "Sutton Grace". Erin, who is the author of the blog, said she was tired of re-taping her children's puzzles "for the umpteenth time" so she came up with a very affordable and super cute solution.
She cut the picture of each puzzle off of the puzzle box and attached it to drawstring pouches. She now houses the pieces of each of the puzzles in the appropriate pouch. They are kept in a bucket, which takes up a lot less space than the boxed puzzles, plus I would imagine they are easier for the kids to get to and clean up.
On the blog she explains the steps she took to label and sew the pouches, including how she added vinyl over the labels to keep them from falling off.
This is one of the best solutions I've seen for an affordable and eye-appealing way to save space and keep the puzzles organized. Thank you Erin!
