Check Your Local Kmart for Double Coupon Days

From January 11 through January 17, many Kmart stores are doubling manufacturer coupons up to and including $2.00 off coupons.

To check the Kmart stores in your area, enter your zip code on the local circular page or call your local store.

The Small Print

In my area, the circular reads that the store will accept up to 25 coupons per day per customer. There are other exclusions which apply including, Buy One, Get One promotional offers, Internet coupons or copies of manufacturer instant coupons. No cash or in-store purchase credit will be given for any amount exceeding the retail price of an item. There is a limit of one coupon for each item purchased and you may only purchase four of the same items using double coupons.

It is always a good idea to get any clarification of exclusions and policies before you shop. The customer service desk should be able to provide the answers.

Double Coupons Don't Always Pay Off

Double coupon days are always a good time for coupon clippers to save money. If you have a coupon for 50 cents, you will save $1.00 during double coupon days. $2.00 coupons will doubled for $4.00 discount savings.

Plan to take your time and shop carefully, comparing the price after the double coupon is applied, to the price of comparable products without coupons. You may be surprised to see that even doubling a coupon does not always mean you will get the best price.
