States Offering Tax-Free School Shopping

In conjunction with back-to-school shopping, several states are allowing tax-free shopping days on school related items such as clothing, computers and general school supplies. It is a great opportunity to save a lot of money on items you would normally spend just on sales tax. But with every passing year, the rules have become a bit complicated with more defined lists of what is and what is not considered a tax-exempt item. Here is the list of states offering tax-free shopping days, with information on tax-free and taxable items to help clear any confusion.
