In an effort to stimulate declining sales, Chrysler LLC kicked off its "Let's Refuel America" promotion which offers customers three years of $2.99 a gallon gasoline.
Using a special card, customers will pay $2.99 per gallon for a maximum number of gallons (which varies depending on model) of unleaded gas or diesel fuel in each of the next three years.
The offer runs between May 7, 2008 and June 2, 2008, by which time you must purchase and take delivery of a new eligible 2008 and 2009 model year Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep vehicle (excluding all SRTs, Dodge Sprinter, Viper, Ram Chassis Cab, Dodge Challenger, Chrysler Crossfire, and Jeep Wrangler) and submit and have an active Visa or MasterCard credit card.
The plan also covers new vehicle leases. The deadline for enrollment into the program is July 31, 2008.
